My name is Jessica Howle. I’m a women’s wear fashion designer, specializing in luxury RTW and statement pieces. I have experience in product development, pattern making and technical design.

I am currently based in San Francisco, California; although I have proven to be quite nomadic the last few years. I have my Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising and a Masters in Pattern Making from the Academy of Art. I would describe myself as a story-teller, a suitor of nostalgia. a protector of all things whimsical and fantasy. I’ve always been in a beautiful daze, utilizing my rebellion as conceptualization. I have been sewing/pattern-making for almost ten years. My design philosophy is simple, express inner truth through innovation, functionality and purpose. Bringing creative visions to life is my souls true north. Collaborating with founders, overseas factories, and cross functional teams from development through production, has enabled me to build upon those once impossible dreams, and create a magical reality for myself and those I work with. Assisting with fittings, edits, and line reviews, while providing technical direction internally and externally on corrective actions to achieve not only optimal fit but uphold design integrity from conceptualization to our final prototype.

It all begins with an idea. Nature continuously engulfs my imagination. Infinite beauty residing equally in the decay and rebirth of all things that dwell innocently and without permission. Organic shapes, colors and textures unapologetically exist in harmonious duality.

After graduating with a degree in fashion design, I spent several years working for prominent houses. Over time, I became more fascinated with the wearer than the clothes themselves and have been so fascinated with the synergy between fashion and psychology.
